What is FRESH48?

The "Fresh48" session is an ideal session for families who want the first precious hours of their baby’s life captured without having the entire labor and delivery documented. 

It's a one hour session and taken in your hospital room (or at your home for a home birth) in the first 48 hours of your baby's arrival (hence, "Fresh48"). It's not a contemporary "newborn" session with props and posing, but is a candid, lifestyle session. I will photograph your baby in your arms, parents counting fingers and toes and exploring all the little details of your new bundle plus babies weigh in/bath etc. Many moms choose to include some nursing pictures in their session. If you have other children, it's a great time to have siblings included meeting their new baby. 

New moms love the "Fresh48" session because it gives her a chance to eat, shower, and maybe get some rest before being photographed. Your images will be edited in black and white.
